Sky Fighter

Speedtrap is a fictional character from the Starriors series in 1984. She is an evil member of the Destructors and can turn into a sky fighter.

Starriors

Speedtrap is an erratic Destructor Starrunner who can turn into a sky fighter.

Destructors are programmed to destroy mutants and invading aliens. Starrunners are search and destroy specialists who can turn from walker to sky fighter.

Fictional biography

Speedtrap: Erratic, danger-loving, high-speed, danger loving Starrunner.

Books

Speedtrap did not appear in Starriors Tunnel of Doom Odyssey I by published by Peter Pan. She was illustrated in a group shop on the back cover.

Comics

1984 Marvel Comics

Limited series

Speedtrap was a character in the Starriors limited series by Marvel Comics.

In the issue 3 story "Assault!" Slaughter Steelgrave sent Speedtrap to track down and destroy Runabout. The battle ended with both Starriors being knocked out when Speedtrap rammed the Strazor.

In issue 4 Slaughter used a transfer ring to revive Speedtrap. She was later defeated in combat by the Guardian Stinger.

Pack-in comics

Hot Shot, Nipper, Runabout and Speed Trap are featured on the cover of pack-in comics issue 4, called "The Trap!". In the issue Speedtrap helped recover the body of the Protector Scooter after a battle. After Backfire's mind was transferred into Scooter, Speedtrap faked an attack on Scooter to convince Runabout that Scooter was escaping the Destructors.
