Sophie Hannah Kovic (born October 19, 1986), is an Australian entrepreneur and social media personality. She is the creator of Seed & Sprout, a sustainable lifestyle brand.[1]
Life and career
Sophie was born in Lismore, Australia.[2] After working in hospitality and retail in the small town of Byron Bay, she started her first business and later built three other businesses.[3]
Sophie grew her sustainable lifestyle business Seed & Sprout from a single product of a stainless steel lunchbox to over 150 different sustainable and reusable offerings, with an aim to help reduce impact on the planet.[4] Sophie attracts a significant following on TikTok and instagram, where she shares a lot about her life and career.[5]
Awards and recognition
- In 2022, Sophie's business Seed & Sprout won the Good Design awards for its innovative solid shampoo and conditioner bar range.[6]
- In 2023, Sophie won an award for her Australian made and plastic free skincare range without.[6]
- Seed & Sprout won the Green online retailer of the year awards in 2021, 2022 and 2023.[7]
