Solarbot is a character from the Transformers franchise and a heroic Decepticon from the Shattered Glass branch of the series.

History

The Solarbots are in fact a race of Transformers who inhabit stars, but were left in crisis when their homes began to burn out. Solarbot, determined to find some means of saving his people, set out in search of their distant kindred from Cybertron, and ended up finding them on Earth where he joined the Cassette forces of Soundwave.

This figure set came with Soundwave and several other Cassettes including Solarbot, whose mold is the same as that of the Autobot Cassettes Rewind, Eject, Rosanna, and Flip Sides.
