The Skybreaker is a fictional weapons created by Dr. Wu as a third party Transformer accessory. It is a homage to the Star Saber from the Transformers: Prime series.

Development
Dr. Wu first teased images of the Skybreaker sword in October 2012.[1]
The Skybreaker blue was released in April 2013.
Reception
The Radio Free Cybertron podcast for April 10th, 2013 discussed the Skybreaker as one of their topics. The hosts said is was pretty neat looking and said it added display value to the Prime Voyager Optimus Prime toy.[2]
