Simplilearn is an online Bootcamp provider for learners.[1][2] In 2019, 2020 and 2021 respectively, Simplilearn won a Gold Stevie Award for Innovation in Customer Service Management.[3][4]

History

Simplilearn evolved out of a blog on project management established in 2007 by its founder, Krishna Kumar.[5] In 2010, Kumar turned Simplilearn into an online school for professional certifications.[6]

In 2012, IndoUS Venture Partners (now called Kalaari Capital) invested in Simplilearn for its teaching approach and business model.[7] In 2013, Simplilearn attracted additional funding from Helion Venture Partners and Kalaari.[8] In 2015, Simplilearn raised another $15M, led by USA-based tech investor Mayfield, to set up the company’s USA operations.[9]

In 2015, Simplilearn acquired Market Motive, a Silicon Valley-based leader in digital marketing training.[10] At this time, Simplilearn established Simplilearn USA, headquartered in San Francisco, California.[11]

In 2015, Simplilearn took its learning ecosystem entirely online.[12] In 2019, Simplilearn established partnerships with IBM, Microsoft, Meta (Facebook) and many others. It also collaborates with California Institute of Technology, University of Massachusetts Amherst, University of California, Irvine and other universities in offering online programs.[13][14]

In 2021, Blackstone Inc., made a substantial investment in Simplilearn to enable it pursue a global growth and acquisition strategy.[15][16]

Simplilearn provides rigorous online training in disciplines such as Data Science and Analytics, Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning, Big Data Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Project Management, and Digital Marketing, among others.[17][18]
