Sidearm is a fictional character and third party Transformer created by FansProject in 2010. He is an homage to the Transformers Generation 1 character Firebolt.

Development
Preview pictures of Protector and Sidearm were posted to the internet by HK-TF in November 2010.[1]
Sidearm was released in December 2010.
Reception
In the WTF@TFW podcast for September 9th, 2010 Protector, Sidearm and Shadow Scythe were selected as one of the New Picture Picks. Vangelus was impressed by the value of Sidearm.[2]
In the moonbase2 podcast for January 9th, 2011 Dave said he would definitely be getting Sidearm.[3]

- An original third party Transformer made by FansProject. Turns from robot to gun. Comes with instructions. Sidearm is included with FansProject Protector.
