Sherry Marts is an consultant on sexual harrassment.[1] She is a former academic who advises scientific associations on how to address and ameliorate institutionalized sexual harrassment. Marts describes leaving her academic career when she experienced serious sexual harrassment.

In 2018 Marts shared a MIT Media Lab's Disobedience Award, given to individuals who fight sexual harrassment with BethAnn McLaughlin.[2]

In 2020 Marts described being bullied by her co-winner McLaughlin, and announced she was leaving the organization the pair helped found.[3]
