Shadow vs. Thunder
Shadow vs. Thunder is a pair of fictional characters made by TFC Toys in 2011 as a third-party Transformers. They are an homage to the Transformers character Nemesis Prime and Thundercracker and Transformers Targetmaster sub-line.
TFC Toys
Shadow and Thunder are Targetroids, similar to a Transformers Targetmaster, but larger.
Other original third-party Targetmasters include FansProject Sidearm and Blesser.
Other third-party Transformer homages to Nemesis Prime include FansProject Shadow Commander and Mastermind Creations Annihilator and iGear's Nemesis Leader.
Other third-party Transformer homages to Thundercracker include Mastermind Creations Stormer.
Development
Shadow and Thunder were first seen on display at the TFC Toys table at a Chinese model convention in May 2011.[1]
TFC Toys released promoption images and the names of Shadow and Thunder in June 2011.[2]
Shadow and Thunder were also seen on display at a convention in September 2011.[3]
Shadow vs. Thunder was offered for sale at the Animation on Demand convention in San Francisco on February 18th-19th, 2012.
The Battle Rollar, Shadow Rollar, Gear of War, Primars, Targetroids, Hercules combiner and Iron Army were among the past items made by TFC Toys spotlighted at the TFcon 2012 Third Party Panel.[4]

- Shadow and Thunder are recolors of TFC Toys's Optiaim and Screamer. They were initially offered by TFC Toys as Animation on Demand 2012 convention exclusives. Limited to 500 pieces.
