THE GENESIS:
Millions of children in India are unable to enroll in schools, let alone access a proper education, perpetuating a cycle of poverty and depriving them of opportunities to break free from the shackles of their circumstances. This caught the attention of two educators from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India - Dr.Pattabhi Ram.Turlapati & Dr.Santhi Devi. They decided to work for School children who are denied access to quality education. This was how Score More Foundation came to existence.
THE FOUNDERS:
Dr.Pattabhi Ram.Turlapati is a leader with vision, skill and accomplishment, Dr.Ram has worked with institutions and organizations, in important roles that involved high stakes, large budgets and diverse teams. He brings in one and half decades of planning and administrative experience, from a number of senior roles where he made impactful contributions in the areas of Teaching, Writing, women empowerment and child education. He has expertise in the areas of child education, child nutrition and child protection, and has worked for more than a decade in social sector. Dr.Ram is an accomplished writer with numerous publications in child Education, welfare, art and culture to his credit. He has authored several books and stories for children, who fetched him national and international acclaim .He is an award winning Writer of international repute and has created world record by authoring nearly 600 books for children in a span of 10 years. Besides being an academician and acclaimed writer, Dr.Ram is a very popular journalist, Columnist and Editor of many reputed national and international magazines. His articles are very thought provoking. His words have touched millions over the past one and half decade. Basically, he puts love into words. That is why; the characters in his Course Books come to life and stand before the eyes of readers. He is closely associated with Print and Electronic Media. Dr.Santhi has been working with the social development sector for more than a decade. Her motivation and commitment to help improve the lives and futures of individuals across all sectors led her for the establishment of Child Development Center and Mahila Margadarsi. Closely connected with the grass root and the ground realities, Dr.Santhi derives her inspiration from there. Ideating, innovating and implementing new programs to empower children through education and women empowerment through livelihood promotion programs are her forte. She is a trainer, counselor and organizer par excellence. She has amazing grasp of Indian culture and works for the promotion of it through various innovative platforms for which she received many national and international honours.

Score More Foundation speaks up for students especially those whose needs and potential are often overlooked and who are denied of quality education. For over two decades, we have been changing children’s lives for the better, paying particular attention to the most vulnerable children living in challenging circumstances by providing access to excellence in education.
OUR CORE BELIEVES
We strongly believe that education can only close the gaps that separate students from low-income backgrounds. We understand that schools and colleges, appropriately organized, can help virtually all students master the knowledge they need to succeed. We believe that achievement and attainment has roots inside and outside of schools. We believe a strong education improves the lives of young people.
OUR CONCERN
Even for children attending school, the quality of education remains a concern. Overcrowded classrooms, a lack of trained teachers, outdated teaching methods, and inadequate learning materials contribute to a subpar learning experience.
OUR APPROACH
We work alongside educators, parents, students, policymakers, and civic and business leaders in communities across the country, providing practical assistance in their efforts to transform schools and colleges into institutions that serve all students well.
OUR OTHER INTITIATIVES:
Emphasizing skill development and vocational training E2- English for Employability English is an international language. We strongly believe that good command on English enhances the chances of employability. We started the training centers where we implement English proficiency courses to children and youth from marginalized communities. This can empower them with the tools to become self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to society. However, the journey is ongoing, and there is much work to be done. Together, we can build a brighter future, where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive, breaking the chains of poverty and unleashing their full potential.
