Biography

Samira Prentice is a singer-songwriter born in Edinburgh, Scotland (26 May 2000) Samira Prentice has 5 solo records, she started by performing on live streams during lockdown and was discovered through social media by Wesley Aaron Hoyle who hosted an Facebook entertainment page called Lancaster Live (now called Music Tube), she entertained the public every week during lockdown by singing cover songs, which then lead Samira Prentice to start writing her own original songs also during lockdown, Samira’s first original song called “I Believe In You” was in aid of Marie Curie Hospice Edinburgh for the terminally ill, Samira released a second single called “Reality” which is about living in the times of Covid 19 and being stuck in lockdown, Samira also released more original songs called, “You’re My Heart”, “Autumn Lover” and “Diamonds & Stardust”, Samira has collaborated with different artists from all over the world, such as Blakgraz (Tom Sweeney), Matias Ndeve, Major Baldini and Fernan Torres, Samira’s original songs have been aired on Super Sound Radio hosted by Murray Mcintosh, she has also been interviewed by Marvin Velasquez on ErasmoSTAR Talent, Samira Prentice is continuing to perform and release more original songs she is currently working with American singer-songwriter Tim McGeary.
