Early Life
SM Rafiq (Born 10 September 1980, Kumarkhali, Kushtia, Bangladesh) is a Bangladeshi Politician. SM Rafiq born in Sherkandi area of Kumarkhali Thana, which belongs to Ward No. 5 of Kumarkhali Pourashava. He is a politician, businessman and conscious citizen of Bangladesh. In 2010, he was first elected as the councilor of Ward No. 5 of Kumarkhali Pourashava. He has been elected three times as a councilor from 2010 to the present .
Political life
He started his Political career in 2000. Since 2010, He has been serving as Councilor and Panel Mayor (2) of Kumarkhali Pourashava Ward No. 5 for 3 (three) times and serving as Vice President of Kumarkhali Thana Jubo League. From 2000 to 2010 he had the general secretary of Kumarkhali Pouro volunteer League. He had a member of the convening committee of Kumarkhali Upazila Jubo League in 2012-2014. He had the joint convener of Kumarkhali Upazila Jubo League in 2014-2016. he had a member of the convening committee of Kushtia District Jubo League from 17th April 2015 to 2017 and he had 2016-2018 Co-convener of Kumarkhali Upazila Jubo League
Career
SM Rafiq was elected as a Councilor to the Kumarkhali Pourashava in Bangladesh Pourosova Election, 2010 from the Kumarkhali Pourashava. 2nd time he elected in 2015 and 3rd time he elected in 2020.
