SDU-001 Vaporsynth

The SDU(Synth Drive Unit)-001 Vaporsynth is the mobile suit piloted by Drea Bëcker, the main protagonist of Mobile Suit: S7NTH_VAP0R. An ancient prototype MS recovered by the United States Armed Forces, the Vaporsynth was discovered and is now piloted by Drea, serving as her primary means of defense against Nadine Smith.

During the end of the first half, The Vaporsynth is nearly destroyed when Drea overclocks Synth Drive. As a result, it is captured by the Erin James and upgraded into the ECA-001 Vaporsynth "Senba", with Drea having partially transformed into a infocell and fused with the suit's systems.

Technology and Combat Characteristics

In its normal state, the Vaporsynth has rather limited combat capabilities. Only when its Synth Drive is activated can the suit's full power be displayed. Its armor, composed of Vapor Metal, while durable, can be damaged or even destroyed with sufficient force, rendering the suit especially susceptible to kinetic weaponry. The suit is also equipped with thrusters, allowing it to fly at high speeds.

The Vaporsynth is quite powerful, especially in the "Full Synth" stage, enabling it to engage and instantly destroy any MS in its vicinity, with the (possible) exception of the Gyanko.

Armaments

• V-Phasers

Two miniature "weaponized particle accelerators(WPAs)", these are the Vaporsynth's main and only weapons. In the Full Synth state, the beams are able to be manipulated into long streams.
