Robotman is a heroic Fictional character from the Microman series introduced in 1975.

Microman

In Microman fiction Robotman was a robot vehicle created by the Micromen for their human friend to join them on adventures. He was later rebuilt into Robotman II and Robotman God Fighter.

Instructions for Robotman included illustrations on how to combine it with various other Microman vehicles and characters, including Escargo, Formula Z, Mad Acroyear, Micro Robot and Road Station.

Development

The Robotman toy was designed by Iwakichi Ogawa.

Robotman was released by Takara in 1975.

Takara reissued Robotman in 2001.

In 2018 several parts for Robotman were released on Shapeways by Mathew Robert Ignash.
