Qayoom Khan (born 04 April 1991) is a Journalist based in Indian administered Jammu and Kashmir.His stories have appeared through print media, videos and podcasts.

Career

Qayoom started his career as a reporter with Kashmir Dispatch and currently he is working as a video journalist with CNN News18. Qayoom is writing for the national and regional media and his stories have regularly appeared in Greater Kashmir, Kashmir Times, Kashmir Glory, Kashmir Reader, Free Press Kashmir , Kashmir Walla , Global News Services (GNS) and The Kashmir Pulse.

Early life and education

Qayoom was born on 4 April 1991 to a Kashmiri Muslim family in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. His father Mohammad Yousf Khan, is working as Govt Employee and his mother Saja Banoo, is a Housewife. He studied at Govt middle school Rahmoo the and completed his TDC exams in January 2013 from Higher secondary school Rahmoo Pulwama and did his graduation from Govt Degree College boys Pulwama.
