Pranta Biswas

pranta Biswas, a growth centric potential young textile engineer, is a fashion retail enthusiast. He was born in 1996 in a small city Keshabpur of Jashore District in Bangladesh. He has completed his schooling in Keshabpur. Later he has been graduated from Shahid Abdur Rab Serniabat Textile Engineering College affiliated with Bangladesh University of Textiles in 2019 where he has received BSc degree in Textile Engineering. Furthermore, He has been awarded world’s one of the top popular award Chinese Government Scholarship for pursuing MSc in ‘International Business and Cross Border E-commerce’ in University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, China. He is the only offspring of proud Parents Mr Swadesh Biswas and Rina Rani Biswas. His father is a retired NGO officials and his mother is a Head teacher at Government Primary School. Pranta belongs to Music and instrumental fascination. He is a good Tabla player. Besides this he also acted several dramas held at his locality and university campuses. He is fond of travelling, writing, readings books and exploring new attributes.

Career

Pranta Biswas is a Textile Engineer, working as a Coordinator at Textile Focus & Denim Focus Magazines having solid working experience of more than 2 years’ in Textile Industry, sustainability lay outing, managing business & communicating, convincing, Survey conducting, Strategic Business Planning & Development. He has previous experience of conducting interview with industry owner, trade body, top management & Ambassador. He also worked for conducting a survey on usage of wool in BD sweater industry on behalf of an Australian company “The WOOLMARK”. He also worked as a Paid field researcher for ‘Work for Better Bangladesh Trust’ organization. Knowledge and experience from the classroom, laboratories, and every possible area during his Bachelor studies helped to broaden the erudition about textile industry. He has also completed ‘Diploma in Information & Communication Technology’ from Bangladesh Computer Council, ‘Industrial Engineering and Lean Manufacturing Course’ under BGMEA-SEIP project financed by Bangladesh Finance Ministry and Asian Development Bank and some other online courses namely Copenhagen Business School accredited online course “Sustainable Fashion” and CILT accredited online courses 'Procurement and Logistic,', project management, supply chain analytics course from Rutgers University etc. Scientific Article writing is another fascinating area for Pranta Biswas. He also developed many contents related to fashion industry, real life experience, career development. Some of his works are- “Smart Recycling of Smart Textiles – “an Un-explored area in Textile Waste Management” “Denim and Jeans shopping; Questions to consider before being an Ethical Consumer”, “Needful task by Young Generation in this Corona Crisis”, করোনায় যা কিছু করার” A Review of Sportswear etc. During his Bachelor study period, he was also engaged with different diversified co-curricular platform like UNYSAB, Career club, cultural organization. He is the founder member of Sarstec Career Club, Cultural Organization Ucchwas, Sarstec-UNYSAB wing. Along with this, he has been strongly connected with Bangladesh Udichi shilpi gosthi, Barishal Natok some other welfare organization. Keeping up an inquisitive and explorative attitude towards learning new skills, Pranta participated different competition and achieved award from diplomatic assembly, debate, cultural performance and many more. Pranta is a visionary personality with kind hearted and caretaking mentality. His core interest is in making a business successful managing the network of all the individuals, organizations, resources, activities and technology involved in the creation and optimization of all processes. And he believes "The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand".
