Porsche 956

Porsche Robo (also called Porsche 956 Robo) is a fictional character from the Machine Robo series. He is a member of the Battle Clan who turns into a car. He was introduced as a toy in 1983, but did not appear in fiction until 1986.

Machine Robo

Porsche Robo is a heroic member of the Battle Clan who turns into a car. Because of his mechanoid nature Porsche Robo does not need to breath oxygen and is resistant to cold, but is vulnerable to intense magnetic fields. He carries a pistol and a rocket launcher. He has been the pilot of the Command Tank that forms the torso of Land Commander 5.

Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos

Porsche Robo is eaten by monster plants during the annual race at Momo in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode 19, "Race to the Death!"

In Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode 19, "Race to the Death!", Porsche Robo first appeared and took part in the race at Momo. He was attacked by Iron Eater plants. Note: Porsche Robo was also seen among the spectators watching the race with Reina Stol and Triple Jim.[2]

Porsche Robo was among the hypnotized population of the Cleo City in episode 21, "Angel of the Mind, Vikung-Fu - Protect".[3]

Porsche Robo was among the population of the city near the volcano in episode 23, "The Burning Skies".[4]

Porsche Robo helped defend the city from a Gandora attack in episode 24, "Gather All Machine Robo".[5]

Porsche Robo was among the mechanoids who defended Yamalin City from the Gandora in episode 25, "Scramble! Land Commander 5".

Porsche Robo defended Yamilan City from a Gandora attack in episode 26, "Crossrock's Great Promise". He is injured by splinter-missile artillery fire. After the battle Porsche Robo is seen limping from the battlefield with the help of Offroad Robo.[6]

Porsche Robo and New Bullet Train Robo guard the central computer in Yamilan City in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode 28, "Tough Trailer - 10 Seconds to Detonation"

In episode 28, "Tough Trailer - 10 Seconds to Detonation", New Bullet Train Robo, Porsche Robo and Supercar Robo helped in the defense of Yamilan City but were struck by missiles from Devilrock as part of Garudi lead Gandora forces while defending the city's master computer.[7]

In episode 29, "Escape From the Underground - Pro Truck Racer Appears!", Porsche Robo is injured in a Gandora attack by a aerial limpet mine. He later appeared defending the city during an attack.[8]

In episode 33, "The Lost Ruin - Four Secrets!", Porsche Robo helped direct escaping air traffic when the Gandora attacked the largest city on Cronos. He called for an ambulance when Eagle Robo was injured and crashed.

Porsche Robo was among the volunteers working the Battle Base built to counter the downed Gandora ship in episode 34, "Vikung-Fu Disappears in Space". He was among the troops who fired rockets at the Varigale-X when it attacked Big Shuttle Robo.

In episode 35, "The Secret of the Jewel People", Cessna Robo, Porsche Robo, Steam Robo and Supercar Robo received combat training from Bike Robo and Tough Trailer.[9]

Porsche Robo and Supercar Robo were among the forces working with Rom Stol and his allies in episode 36, "Cannon Fury - Save Amberman". When Amberman summoned Rockdon it outclassed the smaller Mechanoids until it was matched in power by the combined might of the brothers Pro Truck Racer and Tough Trailer.

In episode 37, "Critical Moment - Land Commander 5", five Machine Robo were selected to be the new team piloting Land Commander 5. The new team was comprised of Ambulance Robo, Fire Robo, Missile Tank Robo, Porsche Robo and Shuttle Robo. Porsche Robo was made the pilot of the Command Tank. After repulsing a Gandora attack on the Battle Base the Land Commander 5 team battled the possessed Rockgilan. [10]

Porsche Robo appeared among the Battle Base troops in episode 38, "Raise Your Gun Helitranser".

Porsche Robo helped defend the Battle Base when it was attacked by Gandora in episode 39, "Full Power, Wheelman!".[11]

In episode 42, "Vikung-Fu - Cry of Anger", Battle Gyror, Blue Jet, Classic Robo, Combat Buggy, Countach Robo, Fire Robo, Mixer Robo, Porsche Robo, Pro Truck Racer, Rod Drill and Trailer Robo were attacking the downed Gandora mothership during a giant hail storm when they are attacked by missiles.[12]

In episode 43, "Mighty Fortress, Heavenly Sword - Jet Don't Die!" the Battle Base was launched in pursuit of the Varigale-X and then attacked the Gandora mothership. Manning the Battle Base were Bike Robo, Diaman, Kendo Robo, Jeep Robo, Judo Robo, Mixer Robo, Missile Tank Robo, Patrol Car Robo, Porsche Robo, Supercar Robo and Trailer Robo.[13]

Land Commander 5 fought in the final attack on the Gandora in episode 44, "Cronos' Last Battle". Porsche Robo was probably in command of the giant. Amberman, Eagle Robo, Jeep Robo, Patrol Car Robo, Porsche Robo, Pro Truck Racer and Tough Trailer were among those who left planet Chronos in ships at the end of the series.[14]

Note: Porsche Robo was called Pulush in some English subtitles of the series. Porsche Robo voice actor Katsumi Suzuki has also played the voices of Generation 1 Transformers characters Rumble, Streak and Wheeljack.

Machine Robo: Battle Hackers

Porsche Robo appeared in Machine Robo: Battle Hackers episode 1, "Burning Electronic Planet".[15]

Porsche Robo appeared in episode 3, "Heavy Wind Mach Blaster".[16]
