Nikolaos Koklonis
Nikolaos koklonis (born August 4, 1983) is a Greek businessman, producer, singer and TV presenter.[1] He is the founder of the television production company Barking Well Media and the publisher of the magazine OK! as well as the websites Znews[2] and OK mag.[3]
Early life
Koklonis worked at Société Générale for a while as a risk manager following his graduation in 2002 from Athens University of Economics and Business with a degree in business administration. He had purchased an airline ticket to Berlin in 2009, which he found to be quite challenging and annoying. He started making plans to open an internet travel agency while he was returning to Greece from the trip. Not long after, he invested €100,000 to launch AirFastTickets. The business purchased tickets for scheduled flights in large quantities, which it later sold for a significant discount. Through their partnership with Groupon, AirFastTickets was able to sell a significant number of tickets for a relatively cheap cost of marketing.
Professional career
Kokloni's television career began in 2016 with the travel show Celebrity Travel, which was initially broadcast on the SKAI television station[4]
In 2015, Koklonis appeared on Fortune 's list of the 40 most successful entrepreneurs under 40.[5]
In 2016, Koklonis founded YoTrip.[6]
Kokloni's company, Barking Well Media, also participated in Open TV's morning entertainment shows, Eftykheti and Ela hamogela! , while he had completely taken over the production for the following shows of the same station: Just The 2 Of Us , Style Me Up , My Greece , Gramma for you and Glykies alchemies. In the 2020–2021 season Barking Well also produced the Mega Channel 's Roomies and Celebrity Game Night .[7]
In 2021, he brought the OK! website to Greece for the first time! at okmag.gr.[2]
In the 2021-2022 season, Barking Well expanded its partnership with Mega, taking over production for the live entertainment shows Smile Again and What Are You Saying Now.[8]
He was a representative of the electronic platform Dealber , which was based and housed on Syngrou Avenue.[9] The company cooperated with the TV station SKAI , giving prizes to the winners of the game show Kane Pazari.[10][11][12]
Koklonis was the host of the celebratory evening organized by Fashion TV , for its 25th " television" birthday, in Athens on September 20, 2022. During the evening, the launch of the Greek version (franchise) of the channel was announced. Koklonis also presented the Fashion TV event, World's Excellence Gala, in October 2023.[13]
The Barking Well Media company of Kokloni has entered into an agreement with the Open television station from the 2023-2024 television season, taking over the production of its entertainment shows.[14]
