2005-2006

Nick Gallick embarked on his collegiate wrestling career at Iowa State University. During his inaugural season, he chose to redshirt, a strategic move aimed at further honing his wrestling skills for future competitions.


2006-2007

As a freshman, he showcased his potential with a commendable 28-10 record, setting the stage for his journey in the NCAA Championships.


2007-2008

His sophomore year marked a significant milestone as he achieved a 27-13 record, secured All-America honors at 141 pounds, and clinched his first Big 12 title.


2008-2009

In his junior year, he solidified his status as a top-tier wrestler. He claimed a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships, earning his second All-America honor. His season concluded with an impressive 35-5 record.[4]


Coaching and Teammates

During his tenure at Iowa State, Nick had the privilege of being coached by none other than Cael Sanderson, a legend in the world of wrestling often regarded as the greatest wrestler of all time.
