Animated series

Nick Burns first appeared in Challenge of the GoBots episode 1, "Battle for GoBotron". A young NASA cadet, Nick was drawn into the GoBots' war when Thruster destroyed the satellite he was meant to be repairing.

Along with Matt Hunter and A.J. Foster he became good friends with the Guardians, and was given a full posting when NASA developed into UNECOM.

Nick was something of a gifted scientist, and a bit of a weed - meaning he got on very well with Scooter.

Nick Burns appeared in Challenge of the GoBots episode 9, "Terror in Atlantis".

Nick appeared in episode 45, "Ring of Fire".[1]

He was always upbeat and easygoing, and was also the only member of the UNECOM team to show any faith in the defecting Renegade Steamer.

He also seemed to take a shine to another feckless nerd, tomboyish inventor Buddy.

Nick would also run courses at the Guardian Academy.
