Mozverse Inc. was founded by Danny Mozlin, a technology entrepreneur with years of experience in augmented reality, virtual reality, blockchain development, artificial intelligence, and creative strategies to enable interoperability between disparate systems. His co-founder, Zach Hirsch is a rising social influencer, podcaster, and entrepreneur who recently has been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Business Insider, and Yahoo Finance.[1][2]

The catalyst of their vision for Mozverse was the hyper shift towards a more virtual society as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mozverse’s mission is to be the leading platform empowering businesses to create fully immersive virtual worlds in the metaverse and to provide consumers with the optimal experience while interacting with each other and digital objects in the new 3D world where working, dating, and shopping virtually are not only possible but necessary.

Overview

The idea of a virtual universe has been around for some 40 years, with the term “virtual reality” being coined by futurist Jaron Lanier in 1987. Films like 1995’s Johnny Mnemonic, starring Keanu Reeves and Takeshi Kitano, popularized the concept of virtual reality and showed a model of what a Metaverse could potentially look like. Danny Mozlin first experimented with augmented reality and virtual reality over 20 years ago.

His early forays into virtual reality and augmented reality included using one of the earliest VR headsets, the virtual boy and and delving into augmenting reality by inserting digital objects into real time video feeds. For the last decade and a half, Danny has been active in the cryptocurrency world including designing specialized hardware for early bitcoin mining.

Four years ago Danny delved into the NFT space eventually developing a custom NFT marketplace. At the onset of the COIVD-19 pandemic relying on his years of related virtual and blockchain development experience, Danny began developing Mozverse, a highly immersive digital world that is designed to be a major contributor to the metaverse.

Mozverse has adopted a strategy of simultaneously developing a platform to power virtual worlds in the metaverse, creating peer-to-peer marketplaces for NFTs, and hardware to facilitate more immersive experiences.

Mozverse created a peer-to-peer NFT marketplace and supportive crypto payment and asset transfer services on the blockchain as a progressive step towards the overall development of its virtual world ecosystem.

While much of the initial metaverse buzz has been around Facebook's name change to Meta it is Mozverse’s belief that no one entity or small group of entities will or should control this virtual frontier. Rather the Metaverse will be developed by many divergent efforts and the aim of the Mozverse project is ultimately to help unify the multitude of upcoming virtual worlds by developing technology and tools that power the vision of a decentralized, open metaverse.
