Headmasters

Monzo is a fictional character from the Transformers series, where he is an evil Decepticon allied Nebulon introduced in 1987. With a slight modification, the name Monxo was used for a Decepticon Titan Master.

Fictional biography

Cruel, viscious, but apparently built with a few wires crossed. Talks to himself in a sing-song backward way: "Destroy the Autobots I shall. Tear them to scrap metal I will." Binary-bonded to Monzo, a brutish, profesional hyperwrestler-turned underworld nightclub owner. In robot mode, uses photon pistol and thermal sword. In wolf mode, nose module is equipped with various tracking sensors. Can leap .8 miles.

Animated series

The Transformers

Weirdwolf only appeared in The Transformers TV series in the 3-part episode "The Rebirth", never spoke, however his partner Monzo did have a couple lines.

Transformers: Headmasters

In Japan, Weirdwolf was a central character in the 35-episode series "Transformers: Headmasters". Weirdwolf is joined in the Decepticon Headmasters by fellow comrades Mindwipe, Skullcruncher, Scorponok (Decepticon Headmaster leader), Apeface and Snapdragon.[1]

He last appeared in episode #35 "The Final Showdown on Earth Part 2."

Books

Monzo is among the Nebulons who appeared in the 1988 Ladybird Books story Autobots Strike Oil by John Grant.[2]

Comics

Dreamwave Productions

Weirdwolf and Monzo did not apprear in the comic fiction from Dreamwave Productions but they did receive a biography page in their Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye comic.
