Moneta digital (MMXN) is an International business company based in the Republic of Seychelles. The company is known for creating MMXN, a digital stablecoin that is linked 1:1 to Mexican pesos.[1][2]

History

Moneta digital was founded in 2021 and duly incorporated in the Republic of Seychelles under number 226407 in Victoria.[3][4] Moneta digital was established to help millions of Mexican users solve the needs for fiat entry and exit channels to the cryptocurrency space.[5][6]

MMXN

MMXN was designed and developed as a digital stablecoin to to reduce the gap between fiat and the crypto world for Mexicans.[7][8] It is pegged 1:1 to Mexican pesos so that users can intuitively understand the concept between stablecoin and Mexican fiat pesos, as well as store a value stable in cryptocurrency without making use of the normal fiat currency.[9][10]

MMXN is designed to use blockchain technology innovations to revolutionize the function of fiat money in terms of storage and payment.[11][12] MMXN is managed by Moneta Digital, along with its legal and compliance partners, overseeing the technical, compliance and financial standards for MMXN.[13][14]

In addition, it is supported by regulated institutions such as licensed banks, law firms, and third-party auditing firms to ensure its legitimacy and reliability.[15][16] In other words, as a regulated digital company and financial institution that issues a reserve-backed token in Mexican pesos, MMXN can offer a token that fuses the trust and stability of fiat currency with the characteristics of digital assets.[17][18]

The value of Moneta

The advancement of blockchain technology, a verifiable and cryptographically secure accounting network, has managed to become the preferred method for storing and transacting borderless digital assets.[19][20]

Asset-backed token issuers, along with other market participants, can benefit from blockchain technology, along with the underlying consensus structure, to transact similarly, with less volatile digital assets and currencies.[21][22]

To establish trust, maintain accountability, and ensure overall market price stability, Moneta was created as a method to maintain a one-to-one reserve relationship between a digital stablecoin called MNXN and the Mexican Peso.[23][24] This method uses multiple blockchains, including the Ethereum and Tron blockchain (ERC-20 and TRC-20) with Proof of Reserves (by the world's leading accounting firms), and other verifiable methods to demonstrate that the issuance and burning process is up to par. risk free at all times.[25][26]

The Moneta company team are of the view that MMXN will bring significant advancement in digital assets to the LATAM market, taking advantage of blockchain infrastructure and bridging the gap between traditional financial systems and cryptocurrencies.[27][28]

Stablecoin has taken advantage of the fruition of Blockchain technologies, with real use cases to solve real-world pain points.[29] It offers better use cases than fiat in almost all functions. It is easier to store, transfer and exchange; it maintains the same unit of account, and provides a comparable stable store of value.[30]

The goal of MMXN is to become the only stablecoin pegged to the Mexican peso, and effectively achieve the entry and exit ramp of the Mexican peso to digital asset platforms, stable value storage and transfer, borderless remittances, digital financial products. and payments for users.[31][32]

Moneta Digital in Mexico

Moneta Digital emerged in May 2021 with the purpose of promoting the next wave and generation and use cases of Stablecoins.[33]

Together with one of its main commercial partners Mexo Exchange, the MMXN token available as of June 17, 2021 on the cryptocurrency exchange platform was issued to buy with Mexican pesos and be able to operate in the spot market with order books such as BTC , XRP. , ETH and USDT.[34]
