Michelle Carter is a playwright and professor of creative writing, best known for controversial plays.[1] She has won multiple awards for her writing.

She wrote a play about the unabomber, entitled "Ted Kaczynski Killed People With Bombs".[2] Her play "How to pray" is said to trigger discussion about abortion.[3]

Other works include "Hillary and Soon-Yi Shop for Ties".[4]
