Michael E. Mone Jr. is an American lawyer.[1] Mone is a former President of the Massachusetts Bar Association.[2] Op-eds he contributed to the Boston Globe have triggered comments elsewhere.

When Mone introduced someone he had been friends with at Boston College he character John "Bluto" Blutarsky, played by John Belushi, in the movie Animal House -- a character who partied very hard in University, and

Mone has offered his help Guantanamo captives pro bono.[1][3][4][5] Mone's Guantanamo clients included Ali Hussein Al Shaaban and Oibek Jamalundinovich Jabarov.
