Biography
Michael james Bauer is an american talented Singer-Songwriter.he was Born September 14, 1960 in Chicago Illinois. Michael james bauer has many years of performing and writing experience. Prior to Middle School, Michael bauer was playing drums and performing at school and church functions. As a freshman in high school Michael james bauer joined his first band and played at talent contests. He has always had a love for pop music of all genres. “When I was little I had an A.M. radio on the handlebars of my bicycle” In his late teens Michael bauer started to write his own music and formed a couple of bands. Since then he has played in almost every type of band, (Original, Wedding, Rockabilly, Top 40, and Country) always with a passion for writing. “I was always able to get a few of my originals into our play lists” Michael james bauer is married to his wife Karen. And they have raised 4 children. Michael moved from Chicago to Naples Florida in 2004 to pursue a dream of owning his own business. Michael bauer recently retired, and is now focusing on improving his craft as a Songwriter. Michael also enjoys performing his music and is a regular at local open mic nights and Songwriter events.
In the last several years Michael has been to 3 “TAXI ROAD RALLYS”. Is a member of Global Songwriters Connection, NSAI, attended 3 of NSAI’s Song Camps and three Tin Pan South seminars, and was recognised by NSAI a "One to watch" in February of 2022.
