Michael Goodboe was an American sailor and mercenary.[2]

During his long career with the United States Navy Goodboe competed to become a Navy SEAL.[1][2] He was chosen for this highly competitive Special Forces program, and rose to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. He was very highly decorated, when he retired.

After he retired from the Navy Goodboe decided to become a mercenary, and was hired by the Central Intelligence Agency, which employed him as a clandestine fighter in Somalia.[2]
