Michael G. Ricciardi, is the former CEO, Co-founder, and Chairman Emeritus of Mercury Capital Advisors.[1][2][3]

Early life

In 1982, Mr. Ricciardi earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.[4] Earlier, in 1978, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University,[4] where he was recognized as the University’s Outstanding Scholar Athlete and received the Robert A. Duffey Prize.[5]

Career affiliations

In 2009, Ricciardi established Mercury Capital Advisors.[1] Prior to this venture, he led the Private Equity Funds Group at Merrill Lynch & Co. and was honored with the firm’s Leadership in Diversity & Inclusion Award.[6][7] He held the position of Managing Director and Head of Global Fixed Income Sales at Paine Webber, also serving as a member of the firm's Operating Committee.[8] During his tenure at Citicorp Securities, he oversaw sales for all fixed-income and equity products worldwide and held the role of Co-Head of Domestic Fixed Income. In this capacity, he managed sales, trading, research, origination, and capital markets. Additionally, he sat on the Board of Directors and was a member of the Executive Committee.[4] He also previously served as a member of the Chairman’s Advisory Board at Sponsor for Educational Opportunity, an organization dedicated to closing the career opportunity gap for students from underserved communities.[9] In 2021, Michael was moved to Mercury Capital Advisors chairman emeritus position.[7][10]
