Mecha-Genta

Mecha-Genta is a recurring character/robot in my upcoming fanfic series, MazinKitty Z(formerly known as Chogokin Robo Hello Kitty). He is the transformed state of Genta Uebutsu, an overweight boy from Hokkaido with a seemingly insatiable appetite. Mecha-Genta is a homage to both Godzilla and MechaGodzilla, two iconic kaijus(giant monsters) created by Toho Pictures.

Appearance

In his human form, Genta Uebutsu was an young, overweight boy. He wore a red shirt, blue shorts, white socks, and black sneakers. He also sported short, black hair. When Machiko modified him into Mecha-Genta, he became a 50 foot tall cybernetically enhanced monster. In this form, he resembles that of Godzilla, sporting several spikes on the top of his head. His body, however, is completely robotic, and has gone through two upgrades so far. His first body was green and tubular. His upper chest area sported several gauges. He also sported a helmet-like "false head". Later, at one point during the Super Robot Wars arc of the first fanfic, Mecha-Genta's body was slightly upgraded. His body remained mostly unchanged, except that his helmet now sported red horns. During an even later part of the SRW arc, Mecha-Genta was given a third body. This new form is a huge, bulky mechanical construct modelled after the "retro-style" robot toys of the 50s and 60s. His helmet has also changed to reflect this aesthetic. During the climax of the first fanfic, Kegawa(He's NOT a girl, okay?!), Machiko's pet cat(who had been turned into a cybernetic beast by her father, Daizo Amachi) was merged with Mecha Genta. As a result, Kegawa's head protudes from Mecha-Genta's chest area. Mecha-Genta himself now sports a red, large segmented piece of metal on his back, which resembles a scarf or a cape.

Powers and Abilites

Weapons Due to his cybernetic implants, Mecha-Genta has multiple weapons at his disposal. These include: Missiles: Mecha-Genta can fire homing missiles from various parts of his body, most commonly from his chest cavity.
