M. G. Chandrakanth (born January 30, 1955) is an Indian Economist, Author, Educationist and Former Director of the Institute for Social and Economic Change. He also served as Dean at College of Agriculture, Bangalore, Professor and University Head of Agricultural Economics, Ciriacy-Wantrup Fellow, DAAD visiting professor and Erasmus Mundus visiting scholar. He is known for Agricultural economics and Academic administration.[1]

Education

M. G. Chandrakanth attended the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru where graduated with, post-graduated and Ph.D. in Agriculture. He moved on to the University of California, Berkeley for his Post Doctoral studies.[2]

Career

M. G. Chandrakanth has served as Professor, Dean and Heat at the College of Agriculture, Bengaluru. He also served as Director at Institute for Social and Economic Change. [3]
