Lyric McHenry
Lyric McHenry was an American woman, best known for her appearances on reality TV]] shows, until she was found dead of an apparent drug overdose, at age 26.[1]
McHenry, the daughter of Doug McHenry, a successful film director, has been described as an accomplished young woman, from a privileged upbringing. She was a graduate of Stanford University, who then lived in France, to learn French.v[2] EJ Johnson, the star of reality TV show EJNYC, said she had been his best friend for 25 years.[3]
In addition to appearing on reality TV McHenry worked for several firms that develop internet content. At Refinery 29 she produced and starred in a YouTube show called “Lingo with Lyric”.[2]
McHenry was found lying on a sidewalk, wearing only a pajama top, with a small bag of cocaine beside her. Police were searching for a man a witness described fleeing the scene. McHenry's family said they were surprised to hear from the Police that McHenry was 20 weeks pregnant.
