Lion Credit Card is a credit card that allows customers to use both plastic and metal versions of the card. The personalized metal credit card is offered by Lion Credit Cards, a fintech startup based in San Jose, California. Jonny Vu is currently the CEO of Lion Credit Cards.[1]

History
In 2015,[2] Lion Credit Card was launched in San Jose, California with a goal of allowing anyone with a plastic credit card to convert it into a metal card.[1] Conventionally, most metal credits require customers to have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, and membership has typically been extremely selective. However, Lion Credit Cards seeks to offer metal credit cards for fees starting at only a few hundred dollars, allowing such cards to be available to a much wider audience.[3]
In 2019, Lion Credit Card signed a partnership agreement with GD Entertainment & Technology Inc[4] after GD's new e-commerce platform DreamCard was launched.[5][6][7]
Products
There are Premier, Basic and Fully Custom versions of Lion Credit Cards.[8] There are currently six finishes offered:[9]

Basic Card
The Basic Card costs $179. EMV chip transplants are also available for an additional $29.[10]
Dual Chip Card
The dual chip card costs $279. Custom designs can be added for $50 extra.[11]
Custom
The Custom Hand Crafted Card Design is currently being offered for $259. Colors are:[12]

Insurance
Lion Credit Cards also offers insurance, including a 2-year plan for $99.[13]
