Lindsay Hofford is the Founder & CEO of Pro Hockey Development Group, Founder of NASHA Sports Insurance Company and most recently start-ups Highlight Sports Inc. and Bahama Ice Corp.[1][2][3]

Career overview

Hofford has 30 plus years of professional hockey and business experience. He established Pro Hockey Development in 1992. Pro Hockey Development specializes in hockey development for players of all ages.

The Toronto, Ontario native has also served as Director of Hockey at the Hill Academy in Vaughan, Ontario.

He worked as the Director of Amateur Scouting for the London Knights from 2010 to 2015 the Toronto Maple Leafs from 2015 to 2019 and most recently as the Assistant GM of the Arizona Coyotes.

Hofford also coached for six years in the CHL with the London Knights and Lethbridge Hurricanes. Over 200 current or former NHL players, including Rick Nash, Brent Seabrook, Austin Matthews, Corey Perry and Mitch Marner, have played or trained or been drafted by Hofford. Hofford has won at every level including Championships at the AHL level, OHL level, CHL level, CJHL level and Minor Hockey levels. He has an extensive history in Coaching, Scouting, Management and Player Development.

Hofford graduated with political science and sociology degrees from the University of Guelph.

Lindsay Hofford moved out of coaching youth hockey and onto the Jr. Ranks. I began to coach professionally with the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). I was a coach for three years before moving to Lethbridge in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for another three years.

Hofford eventually decided to leave coaching and focus on growing my business. I also became the Director of Scouting for the London Knights. Our team had unparalleled success the next six years and I was offered a position as a scout with the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL. After one year with the Leafs, I was promoted to Eastern Director of Scouting – a position I hold to this day. I also am the Director of Hockey for the prestigious Hill Academy Prep School in Vaughan, Ontario.
