Lin Honeycutt, 65, is the owner of The Holiday Light Store and Honeycutt Transmission for 20 and 30 years, respectively. A driven individual, Mr. Honeycutt was self-employed right out of the gate and has been an entrepreneur throughout his adult life.[1][2][3]

Career

Both his companies do excellent business and The Holiday Light Store is popular nationwide.

Mr. Honeycutt's education includes an Associate's Degree in Auto Mechanics and was awarded $10,000 for being rated one of the top 10 mechanics in America.

His facility, Honeycutt Transmission, has received the highest accolades from the City of Raleigh for the state-of-the-art facility.

As a passionate Southern Baptist Christian, Honeycutt is proud to have served as a missionary in 20 states domestically and across the globe. He has been a member of NC Baptist Men for over 30 years, and has held multiple church leadership positions within the last 10 years with the Raleigh Baptist Association. He has preached the Word of God in over 20 different churches, and has built homes and churches with his own two hands in four separate foreign countries. Mr. Honeycutt currently serves as the Region 4 Recovery Coordinator for the Sandy Creek Baptist Association, which in turn serves Southern Baptist Disaster Relief as an Operation Site. He also assisted the North Carolina Baptist Men's Association Disaster Relief after Hurricane Katrina laid waste to New Orleans, and again when tornadoes hit Wake County in April of 2011.

Lin Honeycutt also likes to collect cars, ski, and grow hay when he's away from the garage, and he enjoys spending time with his wife Cindy of 31 years, two daughters, and three grandchildren. Every Christmas, Mr. Honeycutt puts over 1 million Christmas Lights on display at his farm for Raleigh residents of all ages to enjoy.
