Lee Chambers is a British born entrepreneur, psychologist and life coach[1]

Early Life and Education

Born in Bolton, in 1985, he grew up in a working-class family and was a first-generation University student. He has spoken candidly in the past about the challenges he faced with his mental health during his time at university, which led to him failing and being taken home. Despite this, he returned to finish his studies and graduate in International Business Psychology at Manchester Metropolitan University. He holds a Master's in Environmental Psychology from the University of Surrey. [2]

Career

Upon graduation in 2007, he starting working for the Co-opertaibe Bank as a Financial Advisor. Due to the economic crash in 2008, he was made redundant. In 2008, he founded a video game company PhenomGames, which he recently sold. In 2019, he launched Essentialise, a workplace Wellbeing company based in Ribbleton Lane.[3] Lee has also worked within local government, with world-class athlete's, and within the charity sector. He has continued with his education, earning additional qualifications in Nutrition and Sleep. Using his knowledge, he created his own life coaching framework, known as the DECIDE model He set up Covid-19 Counsellors to provide phone and video support sessions to NHS staff across the country. As part of this initiative, Lee coaches an NHS frontline staff member weekly for free. He is also part of a number of research studies, including a recent study into the colour psychology of exterior design and it's economic impact.[4] He is a regular contributor to Yahoo, Metro and Psychreg on subjects such as organisational wellbeing, positive psychology and conscious leadership.[5] Given all that he has achieved in his relatively short life so far, possibly the most inspiring element is that in 2014 he lost the ability to walk due to chronic illness and battled back to learn again. Now he coaches disability football teams as a way to give back to society. He is also well regarded for speaking in education about his journey and empowering the next generation about the future of work, wellbeing and resilience.[6]

Personal Life

Lee Chambers currently resides in Preston, England with his wife and two children. He is the owner of a large Motorsport library consisting of over 100 rare books. He hosts the Health and Wellbeing Show on Ribble FM Radio. He is currently writing his first book entitled "How To Conquer Anything".[7]
