Kevlar Siickk is a US based lyricist, hardcore rapper and producer. Since his first performance in 2013, he has worked with artists like Bizzy Bone, Sticky Fingaz, RBX, Crooked I, Sophia Maria 702, The Game, and Dj Raphiki.  [1]

Early Life

Kevlar was born on October 17, 1987 in Las Vegas, Neveda.

His love for music was derived from his musical family who gave him greats like Luther Vandross and The O’Jays. These people and the sounds from his church choir influenced his vocals and grew his love for music.

Career

Kevlar had his first musical performance in 2013, he has been creating original music influenced by legends of hip hop, like Tupac Shakur and Eminem. He is driven by a deep sense of purpose, rooted in a childhood filled with health issues that almost ended it all for him. He was a miracle baby as he was supposed to die at any moment during his first 2 years spent in the hospital. But he waa strong and survived, that’s the same fight that drives him as an artist today.

His greatest strength is writing, as that is where it all began for him. Being a performer is also one of his great passions, as when he is on stage he is able to connect with people through his music, through his stories that are relatable, even though the circumstances might be different for him than for his fans.

When he is not working on his own rhymes, he works as a producer or collaborates with other artists. [2]
