Kelley Lynch was an American financial advisor.[1]

In 2005 one of Lynch's ex-lover's tipped off Lorca Cohen that Lynch was methodically defrauding Cohen's father, singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen.[1] At the time of the thefts Cohen had retired to a Buddhist retreat. The thefts of Lynch, and other financial professionals he had trusted had not only entirely stripped him of assets, they had left him deeply in debt. Initially Cohen was prepared to take a buddhist approach, and ignore the thefts, until he was convinced that those holding the debts Lynch and others had run up, in his name, would sue him, unless he sued those who ran up those debts.

Cohen won the lawsuits, but it was a Pyric victory, as Lynch had already spent every dime she stole.

Cohen, at 71, organized one last musical tour - which turned out to be by far his most successful.
