Jean M. Nelson (born 1976) is an Artist, Musician, Filmmaker, Director, Writer, Producer, Cinematographer, Editor, Photographer, and Actor. He is an Award-Winning Writer/Film Director. He has written many film projects with his wife and partner Natasha, they have won many awards throughout his career, with The Passion Of Love film which they directed and produced.[1]

Early Life

Jean M. Nelson was born in 1976 in Haiti, as a teen, he was an avid music lover and grew up listening to various kinds of artists. He was deeply inspired by legendary artists like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Brian McKnight, Michael Bolton, and Kenny G; in an interview with Ascendant Magazine, he stated that It was their iconic works that motivated him to take up music as a professional career.[2][3]

Career

Jean is a creative personality in the music, photography, and film industry. Since he began his career, he always had a love for cinematography, photography, and music production, making him one of the most respected persons in the Hollywood cinema production arena.

He is a multi-talented individual who writes both film and music. As a cinematographer, he has seen the world through different lenses, and as a professional photographer, he views and captures the world with his own imagination. Due to his love for the arts and commitment to nothing but the best, he is an award-winning film writer, director, and producer. He is grown to be a living inspiration to many upcoming youths with a great zeal for music, composing, and cinematography.

Aside from being a cinematographer, photographer, and film director, he is also a rock star in composing music, audio engineering, storytelling, filmmaking, and film editing. On April 21, 2020, Jean released his first musical single called Hope, and on July 31, 2020, he released a new album called Conception. In January 2020 he released a new orchestra album called Immortal and in October 2021 with extra time on his hands, he continued to compose and released yet another orchestra album called Rising of the Morn.[4]

Between June to October 2020 and November 2021 Jean asked Natasha his wife, partner, co-writer, and producer to be a part of a new musical album project called Unforgettable. The album which featured 12 musical tracks was completed and released on November 26, 2021, available on iTunes, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, and other music platforms.

From December 2020 to January 2022, Jean started creating one-of-a-kind works of art for the first time, These pieces of art are a reflection of his conception of the world and the universe.[5]

Personal Life

He is a native of Haiti, and currently living in New Jersey. Jean is married to Natasha L Nelson, his life-long partner. Together they have one child: Ethan Nelson. Jean M Nelson has 4 older children from his previous relationship: Joevany Nelson, Geradine Nelson, Alex Nelson and Max Nelson.

The iconic duo have worked on several projects together including films, movies, and musical albums. Jean has worked with his wife Natasha to co-write and produce several films together. The first film produced was The Passion of Love. In 2020 to 2021, they released a one-of-a-kind short film called The Wonders of The Witches. A film in which they both acted, produced and directed.[6]
