James Cuthbert (born July 27, 1982) is the Company Director of Tetrabyte Limited an IT and Telecoms company based in Hastings. He is also an Entrepreneur in the United Kingdom.

Early Life and Education

James Cuthbert was born on July 27, 1982, in Hastings, East Sussex, United Kingdom.

Career

James has worked in the IT field for over 20 years. From the early years, he has worked on a BBC Master, by Acorn Computers, upgrading to a PC with Windows 3.1. After that, he upgraded a 35 floppy disk to Windows 95, till he eventually built his own computers.

James has gained vast experience in Cloud, Cyber Security, Telecoms, IT Support, SEO, Marketing, and Business Development. He set up his own IT Company when he was just 17.

Prior to being in the IT field, he co-presented live TV in London at the now-closed down London Trocadero studio. he was also been lucky enough to have met with 3 of the Dragons from the popular BBC TV show Dragons' Den, although it was one on one meetings and not the TV show itself. He was also contacted by the TV Show The Apprentice, where he came into the top 10% in the country on season 4, however, he decided not to return, as it wasn’t a path he wanted to continue, although the experience gave him a lot of valuable insights which he still uses today. James has previously been involved in working on the UK Police computer network as a technical engineer, he has also done some work as a security advisor to Fujitsu on one of their early online virtual platforms called VZones, which is still running today, but under new ownership.

In August 2002, he founded his own company Tetrabyte, a leading managed I.T. & Telecoms Company which is one of the leading nationwide UK IT & Telecom Companies. It was originally just an IT organization the telecoms side was developed later when he noticed the bad customer service from other telecoms companies and kept being asked by clients if the company could also provide telecom solutions with the same level of customer service provided on the IT services side.

After years of development on the telecoms side, the service was launched and has been taken up by over 80% of our existing client base, as well as new clients, being a great success. As well as running his managed IT and Telecoms company, he also has a business advisory role for other businesses in various other sectors.

Personal Life

James has a keen interest in technology and entrepreneurship alongside worldwide politics and corporate law. He is often found traveling the globe as he loves traveling & holidays.
