Biography
Jahlil Johnson is an american singer-songwriter professionally known as Rugratz LiL , (was born on January 21, 1994) in Chicago, Illinois. Music has always been his passion. As a child jahlil johnson would always sing for his family or in the church choir, Jahlil johnson even sang in clubs at school. His father was also a musician. Jahlil johnson's father played the bass guitar. He didn't get serious about his music until his father passed away in 2020 to Covid. At this time music became his way to cope with his loss. It provided an outlet for him. It also kept me away from things that weren't elevating him. Fame and fortune was never the goal for his music it was just a way to express what I was going through at the time, but seeing his music touch so many people has made me realize that maybe the world does need my music. So jahlil johnson began writing and recording everyday and putting content out in hopes that someone would notice it. Jahlil Johnson has expanded his music group the Rugratz LiL and brought on other independent artist. He has worked day in and day out to create great music that we hope will live forever.
