Lost Protectors

Impirator is a character created by Play With This Too for their Lost Protectors series. He is an evil Vampire Cosmic. He has all the powers common to the Vampires Cosmic, including enhanced hearing, a healing factor, night vision, superhuman durability, longevity and strength, the ability to walk up walls and mind control over those he has bitten.

He carries a Strike Scepter mace and has a Tech Drone companion named D-Fund. He travels through space in his Starcophagus.

Development

Impirator's head design is inspired Blood and Bomb-Burst, while his colors are inspired by Ratbat.

Desolataur was designed by Steve Redinger.

The closed hands for Impirator were designed by Albie Lim.

In February 2015 Play With This Too released images of the prototype for Desolataur, which included parts used on Impirator.

Impirator and Rawbat were among the stretch goals for the unsuccessful Lost Protectors Kickstarter campaign. He was to be unlocked if the campaign raised at least $225,000.[1]

In June 2015 Play With This Too released renders of the Strike Scepter on their Facebook page.

In August 2015 Play With This Too released images of prototype parts for Jetstrike, which included parts used on Impirator.

The Strike Scepter was named by Mathew Robert Ignash. D-Fund was named by Mathew Robert Ignash and designed by Trent Troop.

Fictional biography

Impirator is a villainous Vampire Cosmic and head Blood Counter of King Coldfang. As such it is his job to make sure those under the Horde's "protection" pay fitting tributes to their masters. He carries a golden Strike Scepter given to him from by a rich weapons merchant for agreeing not feasting on his entire family. He then proceed to devour all but one of the man's children, saying he kept his word in not feasting on the ENTIRE family. Has won fortune as the patron for the Vampire Cosmic gladiator Rawbat. There is a rumor the two may be related.

As is common among his kind, he has accelerated healing, enhanced hearing, night vision and can walk on walls. He has highly developed ESP allowing him to tell if a mortal is lying to him. He lives on the blood of living beings and is burned by starlight. His custom made Blast Boots allow him to make amazing rocket assisted leaps.

D-Fund is one of the new model of Tech Drones created for the Cosmic Vampire Horde. This no-nonsense bio-mechanical bat is more at home making massive calculations than blasting opponents in his double barrelled acid launcher mode, but he performs either task with unparalleled precision.
