Hip Bone and his teammates were approached by Cy-Kill in Fossil Fallout, and Hip Bone was in favor of neutrality in the conflict between the Guardian and Renegade factions of GoBots. However, he and his teammates were forced to employ the power of their united form of Fossil Saurus against Courageous after Cy-Kill's minion Spoons abducted Jaw Bone's daughter Ulna. Fortunately, they were able to strike back against the Renegades after the Guardians rescued Ulna from Cy-Kill.
