Hindi, or more precisely Modern Standard Hindi, is an Indo-Aryan language spoken chiefly in the Hindi Belt region encompassing parts of northern, central, eastern, and western India.[1]

Hindi and Urdu are considered sister languages, diverging in the 12th century, with Hindi having a more Sanskrit influence, while Urdu was influenced more by the Arabic and Persian languages.[2]
