Around 75% of all aluminum used today has been recycled at one point or another; the metal has a 100% recyclable rate. This means that their cans are not made out of newly mined aluminum but instead aluminum that has already been recycled.[2] Unlike plastic bottles, the aluminium cans are reusable. Over time plastic bottles break down and release chemicals into the water on the inside, which is why there are expiration dates on bottled water. Aluminum bottles don't break down and don't release chemicals into the contained water. The unique process for the production of Heart Water utilizes ultraviolet light technology, seven-stage purification, and ozone oxidation, ensuring the naturally purest water available. Rainwater is naturally the purest, most sustainable source of water. It is infinitely renewable. Not only is the water delicious, capturing rainwater is saving the depleting water resources the world depends on. Most bottled water is just filtered tap water, polluted spring water, or contaminated sources that are full of chemicals.[2] Their 2 acre collection facility can bottle 450,000 16oz bottles from just 1 inch of sustained rainfall.[3]
