GHANA News ONLINEis a content curation and syndication website that provides news articles from across Ghana. It was created with the goal of revolutionising Ghanaian content aggregation and distribution with the objective of minimising the occurence of false news information on the web space. [1]

History

GHANA News ONLINE was registered and established on the 5th of October, 2020 and belongs to the parent organization, HR Forum Media. [2][3][4][5]

Growth

GHANA News ONLINE finished 4th and 6th place respectively out of 10 places of top websites in Ghana, according to News and lifestyle magazine, Magazine bee and ProNewsUsa ratings. [6][7]

Initiatives

GHANA News ONLINE in the course of its existence has been involved in various programs and social initiatives geared towards societal growth development (Community outreach programs, seminars and medical facility support). [8][9] The most recent is, GHANA News ONLINE's partnership with Agape Concepts for an Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign, in the small farming community of Tupa located in the Ga South District of the Greater Accra Region. [10] The goal of the campaign was to raise awareness among community members, primarily parents, about the need of sending their children to school, since it was discovered that the majority of children aged 3 to 14 were not in school. [11]

Consensus Building

GHANA News ONLINE engages a following of 37000+ on social media providing information, education and building consensus on issues of national importance. This is all part of efforts to get the citizenry, far and wide involved as far as nation building is concerned vis-a-vis bringing current happenings to their doorstep as agents of information.
