Rock Lords

Gutsrock is one of the good Rock People. Gutsrock is made of granite and can transform into a slab of granite which can be launched at opponents. He stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 1.1 tons. Like most Rock People he is probably immune to the effect of acid and magnetic fields which adversely affect metal mechanoids. His weapon of choice is his Strong Cutter.

Reception

Fictional biography

Character and ability: I have tremendous strength, but my heart is kind and a bright character. I love nature and animals. Strong cutter that cuts enemies while rotating at high speed, and a break voice of ultrasonic waves which any kind of shredded pieces is good at.

Animated series

Gutsrock Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode 20, "The Man From Gandora"

Gutsrock first appeared in episode 20, "The Man From Gandora". When Battlerock was injured by the Gandora and taken to a hospital Gutsrock lead the other good Rock People. They mistook Rom Stol and his friends as their enemies because Rom had helped Devilrock Clay, but Battlerock ordered his people to stop fighting. After Devilrock Clay died protecting Reina Stol, Battlerock and his Rock People attended the funeral.[2]

A village of Rock People, who resembled Battlerock, Gutstock and Mecharock, lead by the elderly Java appeared in episode 22, "Rockdon Versus Rockgilen".[3]

Battlerock, Gutsrock and Mecharock appeared in episode 29, "Escape From the Underground - Pro Truck Racer Appears!". They aided Rom Stol's forces against magnetic mines, which were not attracted to their stone bodies. The Rock People aided in recovering Tough Trailer when he was trapped underground.[4]

Battlerock, Gutsrock and Mecharock defended the Battle Base construction site from the Gandora in episode 34, "Vikung-Fu Disappears in Space".[5]

Mecharock, Battlerock and Gutsrock in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode 35, "The Secret of the Jewel People"

Battlerock, Gutsrock and Mecharock were among the reinforcements Blue Jet brought in to help save Rubyman from the Gandora in episode 35, "The Secret of the Jewel People".[6]

In episode 36, "Cannon Fury - Save Amberman", Battlerock, Gutsrock and Mecharock welcomed Amberman into the Battle Base forces when he was invited by Rom Stol to join them.[7]

Note: Many of the Rock People in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos look like Gutsrock. Since he is never mentioned by name is it uncertain which of the Rock People who resemble him in the series may be the actual Gutsrock.
