Gouge is a fictional character from the Starriors series in 1984. He is an evil member of the Destructors and has a spiked ream in his chest.

Starriors

Gouge is a Destructor Wastor equipped with a spiked ream. His right hand is a large claw and his left hand is a laser. He can be reassembled into Hi-Crusin Position and Lo-Crusin Position.

Destructors are programmed to destroy mutants and invading aliens. Wastors are a humanoid series of Starrior, roughly the same height as an adult human, though somewhat bulkier.

Note: The Starriors series is considered a parallel universe in the Transformers series. In the Transformers universe there is a Decepticon named Overkill, whose preliminary name was Gouge.

Fictional biography

Gouge: Sadistic, ill-tempered Wastor, who uses his ream for destruction.

Gouge was a major character in the Starriors limited series by Marvel Comics.

Pack-in comics

Gouge appeared in issue 5, "The Wall" where he was riding Twinhorn as they fired on Windrazor for flying too close to the Forbidden Zone.

Gouge appeared in issue 6, "Bolar!" where he was riding Twinhorn as Gouge ordered Clawgut and Slice to to find three Protectors in the Forbidden Zone.

Gouge is made up of 6 parts that assemble into different configurations. The arms and legs are attached to the body with 5mm pegs and holes, while the head is attached to the body with a 3mm peg and hole. He has a 5mm peg on the top of each shoulder. He has a 3mm peg on the side of each arm and foot.
This toy came with one of the first four Starriors pack-in comics.
This toy shares it's mold with Robot Anti Transformation Squad Darksider G-2 and Robot Anti Terror Squad Squad Reinforcement Personnel 1. It shares all the mold except his weapon with Starriors Crank.
