The Giant Acroyear toy was designed by Iwakichi Ogawa and was filed for US patent in 1978.

Comics

1979 Marvel Comics

The vrious components of the Giant Acroyear appeared in the Marvel Comics Micronauts series several times. The arm robots appeared as Acroyear pilots of the Battle Cruiser.

A remold and recolor of Microtron. Although he has the same body and some accessories, his features a new head, drill, arms and spin rollers.
