Fresh is a Capital Markets Management System that uses data to provide issuers with the insights to help them understand existing and potential shareholders. Fresh also offers the tools to reach and engage the market more effectively, and the ability to raise capital from verified sticky investors.[1]

History

Fresh was founded in 2017 with its headquaters located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The company was formerly known as Fresh Equities. It was born from an understanding of the key unmet needs that issuers have when it comes to their capital markets strategy.[1]

Having participated in over 1,400+ capital raises over the past 4 years, Fresh knows that the best raises are finished before they start, and companies that have excess capital demand raise better capital and enjoy better post-raise performance.[2]

Product and services

Fresh's product is called a Capital Markets Management System (CMMS) and it does a number of things:

For public companies

Fresh provides them with an enriched understanding of their shareholder base and how healthy their company as an investment. This is delivered in the form of data and insights that the company can then take action with.[3]

For investor relations teams

Fresh helps them reach and engage a larger portion of shareholders than they typically can. Many companies have very basic communications channels with the majority of their shareholders, whilst a small portion of them receive a gold class experience (as they're usually holding a lot of stock).[3]

Fresh enables companies to reach and effectively engage with their entire shareholder base for the purpose of increasing conviction and decreasing their likelihood of selling.[3]

Investors of companies that use Fresh have more engagement with their holdings and, as a result, a greater understanding of their investment. With a suite of interactive investor communications channels, such as Interactive Announcements, investors can digitally engage with companies to deep dive into their strategy, their performance, and their vision for the future. This is important because, until now, retail investors have largely not had the opportunity to communicate with the companies they invest in, and can therefore be at a disadvantage due to a lack of information parity across the market.[4]

Aside from inventing the world's first Capital Markets Management System, Fresh is guided by a series of principles that ensure it consistently deliver value to customers and their shareholders.[3]
