Early Life

Marlon Andrew Ellis professionally known as Ellis Production is a Jamaican-born American music producer, videographer, and photographer. Ellis was born in Jamaica and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Due to his father being in the Jamaican army Ellis would spend his early years growing up on a military base with his parents. Ellis's mother and father would eventually divorce. Ellis's mother would seek a better life for her and Ellis, so she migrated to North America, while Ellis stayed in Jamaica with his family. Despite living with family his living arrangements were not always stable; he went from relative to relative and eventually ended up living with his grandmother. Once Ellis moved to America, much like how it was for him in Jamaica, he would be bullied because he was smaller, a loner, and different from his peers. Growing up with his grandmother, he was physically abused for much of his youth by both his grandmother and grandfather. During the summers, he would fly by air from Jamaica to America to visit his mother, who was residing in Florida. In 2006, Ellis's mother got married and would have another child. Ellis would leave Jamaica after this and reside in America permanently.

Education

Marlon Ellis would attend Oriole elementary school in North Fort Lauderdale. He would be held back in the 4th grade due to not being motivated. Ellis would transfer from Oriole elementary to Cypress Elementary in Pompano Beach, Florida to finish out his elementary school term. He would attend The Abundant Life Christian Academy for middle school. Ellis would be involved in multiple extracurricular activities such as basketball, soccer, track & field, and art competitions. Ellis would attend J.P. Travella high school. Ellis would attend Full Sail University online; his major was in audio engineering. He would eventually drop out of Full Sail due to his commitment to the United States Armed Forces. Ellis is currently enrolled in online courses for his degree in business administration at American Military University.

Military service

Ellis would join the United States Armed Forces and entered boot camp on July 25, 2016, on Parris Island, South Carolina. His training includes such as first aid, land navigation, marksmanship, physical fitness, and self-defense. Ellis would graduate as a Private First Class (PFC). Once he graduated from boot camp, he went through Marine Combat Training (MCT) in Camp Geiger, North Carolina. He would learn how to be a basic rifleman in a combat environment. After BootCamp and training, he would go on to learn his military occupation specialty (MOS). Ellis would enroll in personnel administration school at Camp Johnson to learn how to become an administrative specialist. Once Ellis completed schooling, he received orders to Camp Lejeune where he was assigned to the unit Combat Logistics Battalion 6 (CLB-6). During that time with CLB-6 he was apart of the color guard, helicopter support team (HST), tactical combat casualty care (TCCC), combat operations center (COC), Non-Lethal Weapons training (NLW), Community Relations, Defense Travel System, and went on 2 deployments with the unit. Ellis would rise in rank and eventually reach the rank of Sergeant. He was honorably discharged.
