EdCast is an American Talent Experience platform for Unified Discovery, Knowledge Management, and Personalized learning.[1][2]

History

Headquartered in Mountain View, California, EdCast was founded in 2013 by Karl Mehta with the original aim of creating a mobile app that leveraged a user-specific recommendation engine for educational content.[3][4][5]

In 2016, EdCast acquired Sales University.[6] In 2017, it acquired Sociative, a machine-learning company[7] and in 2019, it acquired Leapest; an online B2B marketplace for the training industry.[8]

In 2019, EdCast launched MyGuide - a digital enablement tool for online performance support systems.[9] In 2020, the company launched its proprietary Learning Health Index (LHI)Study, with the objective of creating a deeper understanding of learning health in organisations across corporate India using a validated research approach.[10]

In 2020, EdCast was awarded as Technology Pioneer by World Economic Forum.[11] It was also awarded the Best Learning Experience Platform in 2020[12] and in 2021 by Craig Weiss.[13]
